Update
It was wonderful to welcome families into Copperfield School for our November Conferences this week. We are extremely proud of our Copperfield students and the learning progress that has occurred this fall. Families are an integral part of our students’ success, and we encourage you to continue to connect with your child’s teacher if you have questions. If your family was unable to attend conferences and you still wish to set up a meeting, please email your teacher to make an alternate arrangement.
We are looking forward to all the excitement and energy December brings. Planning for our Winter Concert is well under way. We are also looking for volunteers to help in the preparations. More details are provided below.
We have been experiencing some winter weather, and we remind students to dress appropriately. Students will be outdoors for recess and lunch recess times unless the temperature including wind chill exceeds -20C.
Copperfield has heart!
Sincerely,
Colette Pedde
Principal, Copperfield School
WINTER CONCERT
This year our Winter Concert is on December 17 and 18. We will be hosting a Matinee during the day for each concert. More details below.
Due to limited Gym seating and capacity, we are asking that only 2 members of immediate family attend the evening concert. Extended family or friends are asked to attend the daytime matinee school concert.
In planning the concert, we tried to put as many siblings in on the same night as possible. If your children are performing on separate nights, please contact Mrs. Horton (ajbohan@cbe.ab.ca) by email to coordinate attending on the same evening.
