UPDATE
We have enjoyed another busy week of learning at Copperfield School. This is the details for our Winter Concert Copperfield Winter Celebration on Wednesday, December 17 and Thursday, December 18. Please refer to this for performance times and dates.
We would like to extend a big THANK YOU to our School Council for providing the teachers with dinner the evening of Parent Teacher Conferences.
December 19 - Pajama Day
Students are invited to wear their favourite set of PJs to school on the last Friday before winter break. Get cozy and have some fun. Students will still be going outside for recess on this day, so please ensure they have snow pants to wear.
Copperfield has heart!
Sincerely,
Colette Pedde
Principal, Copperfield School

PARKING AND TRAFFIC – Choose Safety over Convenience
As the weather changes, we want to remind everyone about an ongoing safety concern during drop-off and pick-up times. We continue to see unsafe situations, including students getting out of cars in the middle of the street and darting through traffic. We are reminding students daily, but we need your help.
Please ensure that all drop-off, pick-up, and after-school parking is done safely and responsibly. With a large school in a busy residential area, we understand the challenges. However, we ask that you do not stop in the middle of the street, do not make U-turns, and that you assist your children in making safe choices when crossing the road or exiting vehicles.
You may have noticed Calgary Police Service supporting us in monitoring traffic. Thank you for doing your part to keep our students safe.
LOST AND FOUND
The lost and found is overflowing. Is your student missing an item, have them check the lost and found. Remember to label all items as we do check weekly for names and return those labelled. All remaining lost and found will be donated on December 19 at noon.
