 Dear Copperfield Families,

We’ve had another wonderful week of learning here at Copperfield School! A huge thank you to all the members of our School Council for their ongoing dedication and support of our students. The School Council meets every month on the third Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and is an excellent opportunity for community members to stay informed about school happenings and upcoming events.

We’d also like to express our gratitude to all our families for their active participation and volunteer support in fundraising efforts, field trips, fun lunches, and snack days. Together, we are making Copperfield School a wonderful place for both learning and community.

A special thank you to our School Council for generously funding our One World Drumming and Lacrosse residencies, which are currently taking place. You’re invited to join us for the One World Drumming Finale on Wednesday, May 21, during the school day.

May is also a month full of exciting field trips for many of our classrooms, and we truly appreciate everyone who supports these valuable student opportunities. We are grateful to the School Council for covering the transportation costs for these trips. This is a great time to remind families to review their MyCBE Account for any outstanding field trip fees and to ensure that all necessary student forms are completed and returned.

Once again, thank you for your continued support! Copperfield has heart!

Warm regards,
Colette Pedde
Principal, Copperfield School

2025/2026 School Year Planning

As we begin class lists for the upcoming school year, we would like to remind you to let us know as soon as possible if your child will be moving to a new school for the 2025/2026 school year. Email the school at copperfield@cbe.ab.ca with your plans and we will assist you with the next steps.

All students K-4 will automatically be transferred to the next grade, providing they are still residing within the Copperfield community.
