 Update

Our school year is off to a great start at Copperfield School as our students become reacquainted with familiar routines. We will extend our school theme of “Copperfield has heart” beyond our school community we will be learning about Terry Fox and his contributions. On September 13, our Grade 3’s will be hosting a Terry Fox Assembly at 8:45am. All students will participate in the Terry Fox Run. Grades 4 and 5 students will run around the pond at 9:30am and our Grades 1 to 3 students will run at 10:30am. The Kindergarten students will run during their Phys. Ed period. Parents and guests are welcome to attend.

Our first Parent Teacher Conferences will be on September 26 and 27. This first conference is designed as an opportunity for parents and guardians to highlight information about their child and to meet their child’s teacher to establish learning goals for the year. Copperfield staff are eager to welcome our Copperfield learning community into our building, and we encourage families to visit the classrooms, gym, music room and book fair that will be set up in the Copper Gallery. Conference booking opens on September 19 at 6pm, watch for an email with information.

Have a great weekend.

Copperfield has heart!

Sincerely,
