Update
We hope you had a wonderful Fall Break! The next few weeks are busy as we plan for the upcoming Parent Teacher Conferences and our Winter Celebrations in December.
Our November Parent Teacher Conferences will take place Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29. Please see below for booking instructions and times. These meetings are an important component of our reporting process to parents/guardians. The September conference was designed as an opportunity for parents/guardians to highlight information about their child and to meet their child’s teacher. The November conference is an opportunity for teachers to share learning progress with families. Parents and guardians will book their 15-minute conference time on-line using their MyCBE, and the conference site will open to families to begin booking conferences on Thursday, November 21 at 6:00pm (please see below for further instructions). Once the conference is booked, you should receive an email within 24 hours confirming the scheduled interview time.
We are beginning to prepare for our annual Winter Celebration. Our students in Grades 1-5 will perform on either December 11 or 12, and our Kindergarten students will perform on December 17, 2024. The Winter Celebration is an opportunity for our community to gather and most importantly for students to showcase their learning. We understand that tickets and limited seating is not ideal, therefore, we are continuing with the same format as last year. We have scheduled two concerts to occur over two nights, with two performances on each evening. Concert 1 will be on Wednesday, December 11, and Concert 2 on December 12. Each concert will have two parts, A and B. Part A will take place from 6:00pm – 6:30pm and will include Grade 1 – 3 students and in order to allow for a changeover in parking, Part B will take place at 7:00pm – 7:30pm and will showcase Grade 4 and 5 students. This will allow for a smaller number of students performing at a time and allow for greater availability of seats for families. Please see below for more details. Thank you for your support in celebrating your child(ren)’s success.
Copperfield has heart!
Sincerely,
