Dear Copperfield Families,
We’ve had another great week of learning at Copperfield School! With the warmer weather, it's wonderful to see so many students riding their scooters and bikes to school. A friendly reminder for students to bring a lock and use the designated racks to secure their personal items. There are bike racks on both the east and west sides of the building, and scooter racks are available by the Grade 4 doors. For everyone's safety, students are reminded to walk their bikes and scooters on school sidewalks and grounds before and after school.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms, grandmothers, and caregivers in our school community. Thank you for the support, encouragement, and care you give each and every day. Your impact on the lives of your children and our school community is truly appreciated. Wishing you a wonderful Mother’s Day!
Our Copperfield School Council and School Fundraising Association are invaluable members of our school community. Our council members guide decision-making, organize and support school activities, and provide learning materials and opportunities for our students. A BIG THANK YOU to our AMAZING council members for the wonderful staff appreciation treats this week and their continued dedication and support of our students. Our next school council meeting is on Wednesday, May 20 at 6:30 p.m. It’s a great opportunity for community members to stay informed about school happenings and upcoming events.
Once again, thank you for your continued support! Copperfield has heart!
Warm regards,
Colette Pedde Allyson Heggie
Principal Assistant Principal
