It has been another great week of learning at Copperfield School. We had a great turn out to our Meet the Teacher evening. Thank you to everyone who came and made connections with our staff. A HUGE thank you to our wonderful Parent Council for organizing the Food Trucks. We really appreciate all of your support!
We also had a very successful Scholastic Book Fair! We sold $5918.11 worth of books and earned $2248.88 to purchase books for our Library!

ANNUAL FORMS AND LUNCHROOM REGISTRATION
Annual forms are now due. Please log into your MyCBE account and click on the school engage button which will bring you to outstanding forms. These forms are required by Alberta Education to be completed every year.
TERRY FOX RUN
Copperfield School will be collecting donations for the Terry Fox Foundation for the next 2 weeks. If we are successful at meeting our school's fundraising goal, the students will win a "pie in a teacher's face"! Donations can be made online using the link https://schools.terryfox.ca/98124 You can also make a cash donation by sending money with your child to school.
September 18
- 8:30am – Terry Fox Assembly
- 9:15am - 9:45am – Run – Grades 1, 2 & 3 & Dmowski. Run around the Wildflower Pond
- 10:00 - 10:30am – Run - Grade 3 Williams, 3 Wilson, Grade 4 and 5 students run around the Wildflower Pond.
NEW BYLAW PARKING SIGNS & STAFF PARKING LOT
The City of Calgary has installed new signs in front of our school to help improve traffic flow and safety. There is no stopping or parking along the area in front of the school, from the bus lane to the crosswalk.
We will continue to offer our Hug and Go drop-off area behind the bus lane for families who are dropping off students.
Please remember that the school parking lot is not available for student pick-up or drop-off. Families are asked to use the streets surrounding the school. When parking on our surrounding streets, please be a considerate neighbour by not blocking driveways, fire hydrants, crosswalks, or other designated areas.
